On March 12, 2010 we held an open house to unveil our new PTSD Sleep Clinic.  The open house was a success with over 60 patients and practitioners.  Participants were given a tour of our sleep center including 4 different workshops.  At the polysomnography station, participants were given an introduction to sleep.  They were shown what information we collect during a sleep study, what normal sleep should look like and what fragmented sleep looks like.

On Friday March 12th, Maimonides Sleep Arts & Sciences will host an open house for its new PTSD Sleep Clinic from 10 am to 6 pm with presentations and workshops throughout the day. Patients and healthcare providers are invited; and Dr. Barry Krakow will lecture at noon and 6 PM on "PTSD and REM Sleep: Dream Your Way to Better Sleep"
