| Job Description: | Maimonides Sleep Arts & Sciences, Ltd. has a challenging and unique opportunity for a Nurse Practitioner to join our team of sleep professionals. We are offering a highly motivated NP a position in sleep medicine as the primary clinical provider. Supervised by Dr. Barry Krakow, a leading expert on sleep disorders treatment and pioneer of Sleep Dynamic Therapy ®, Dr. Krakow’s innovative mind-body paradigm enables you to educate your patients on the connection between poor sleep and mental/physical health. The NP will participate in multiple aspects of patient care including; physical exams, medication evaluations, laboratory testing and managing patient follow up. | Preferred Skills: | Previous experience in cardiovascular and pulmonary disease and behavioral medicine is preferred. Must have a flexible schedule to include occasional weekend or evening work. Maimonides Sleep Arts & Sciences strives to be at the forefront of all sleep medical technology. We are 80% transitioned into EMR and are proud of our ground-up patient portal system. Therefore, the candidate must be highly proficient with computers and willing to work almost exclusively electronically. We are looking for a long term team player to join our practice.
